In plain words
My Harijī, the longing to serve is in my heart; you will keep me in refuge at your presence. Set me to tie up the oxen, or set me to tie up the horses, or set me to day labour. Do not trouble yourself over my eating and drinking; give me millet, or give me husks. For a wrap give me a black blanket, and a mat of date palm. Whatever you give, that I will take; that thought alone is full measure for me. Mīrā's lord is Giridhar Nāgar; she is the dust of his own feet.
