In plain words
Yaśōdā begs: "You who made the mighty cart [Śakaṭa] roll over, so that the gods rejoiced, and drank the poison of the demoness [Pūtanā] with the treacherous breast; my dark little calf, who took the calf [the demon Vatsa] and flung it, meaning to bring down the fruit of the strong wood-apple of the forest [the demon Kapittha]; you who go into battle with a might that shakes it, so that those called Dhēnuka and Mura and cruel Naraka of hard strength perish: my elephant, dance the ceṅkīrai for me once! Fighting bull of the herdsmen, dance, oh dance!"
