In plain words
Yaśōdā calls her son: "Come, come, come here! Vāmana, perfect one, come here! Kākutstha [Rāma], perfect one, with your dark curls and red mouth in your lovely face, come here!" To the woman who complained she says, "My good lady, he is hard for me to catch today," and to him again: "You who are dark as kohl, I cannot bear the neighbours speaking scorn of you: come here to me, sinner that I am!"
