In plain words
Yaśōdā calls: "You coloured like the rain-cloud, come here! Child of the Temple [Śrīraṅgam], come here! Holy Nārāyaṇa, who lie at Tiruppēr ringed by clear-waved water, come here!" Crying, "I've already had my food!", he ran into the house, and his cowherd mother saw him, went to meet him and took him up on her hip. Such are the arts Kaṇṇaṉ our Lord has learned!
