In plain words
Another woman complains: "With red rice, small lentils, carefully made jaggery, fragrant ghee and milk I had cooked for my vow through twelve Tiruvōṇam days [the days of the Śravaṇam star]. I knew this child's nature from before. He swallowed it all, said, 'I'd like still more,' and came away to stand here. Lady Yaśōdā, call your son to you! Is this any way to raise a child?"
