In plain words
Yaśōdā says: You who hold the strong white conch, your holy birthday, the day of Tiruvōṇam, is the seventh day from today. Already I have called the women whose speech is lovely as melody, set the sprouting seeds and had them wish you long life, and I have made the curries and the rice and stored them in the vessels to hold the festival. Kaṇṇaṉ, dear as my eyes, from tomorrow do not go behind the calves; dress yourself finely and stay here.
