In plain words
A woman tells it: When the dark little lad, who had trampled flat all those cruel weeds called Dhēnuka, Pralamba and Kāliya, roamed and roamed through the forest as was his way and played his flute, the heavenly dancers, Mēnakā with Tilōttamā, Rambhā and Urvaśī, were abashed and spellbound, and in heaven and on earth alike, without a word, they gave up their dancing and their singing of their own accord.
