In plain words
Hanumān says to Sītā: Lady with dense, dark curling hair, trembling apart from him, hear a plea from your servant. He broke the bow of Janaka of the gem-crowded crown and brought you home as his bride; hearing of it, Paraśurāma, whose penance no one else could perform, who had rooted out the wicked kings like weeds [for twenty-one generations], blocked his way midway; and that with a fitting bow he shattered his penance: that is one token [that I am his servant].
