In plain words
The poet says: Before the men of the lord of the south [Yama], who have no uprightness, come in like men who goad bulls, then bind you with strong ropes, beat you and drag you head down: those who speak of him, He is such, he is thus, meditate on him and see him till the darkness of the heart is gone, and say, The King [of Yama too], Madhusūdana!, will themselves be pleaders in heaven [pleading with the Lord on behalf of the eternal attendants for their service].
