Vēdappirāṉ Bhaṭṭar: I have set on my head, as its ornament, the two lotus flowers that are the precious, lovely feet of Amutaṉ of the Mūṅkil clan, and so all my ancient deeds, good and bad, have left me. What do I owe now to those of the southern realm [Yama and his servants]?
