Amutaṉār: Pūtam, the holy master, lit the full lamp called knowledge [the Second Tiruvantāti] to destroy the darkness of the heart through which the Lord is seen. Rāmānuja sets Pūtam's feet to dwell in his heart and delights in them, and the good who recite Rāmānuja's auspicious qualities are the ones who guard the Veda and make it stand firm here on this earth.
