In plain words

Amutaṉār, to the people of the world: See him: the great sage called Rāmānuja, the generous one who lives by the natural grace of her who first wore the garland meant to encircle the crown of Araṅgar and then gave it [Āṇṭāḷ]. When the Veda, which has no flaw at all, had been brought low [by those who rejected or misread it] and Kali alone ruled the whole earth, he came into the world, redeemed the Veda and protected the world.
