In plain words
Amutaṉār, to Rāmānuja: O Rāmānuja, by your generosity, which shines on with no lessening however much is taken, and puts forth new shoots and grows high, you have entered the mind of me, whose deeds are heavy, heedless of your own greatness. My lonely heart falters and grieves, thinking, "This is a blot on your great eminence, which sends out a pure light."
