Amutaṉār: The Supreme One stands within souls, does only what is fitting for them and works only for their saving; yet so that even he should seem to have no love for them, our Rāmānuja came from the summit of heaven to give release to all the many souls, rose on the ground of the earth, and made the four saving Vedas grow.
