In plain words

The poet, to the Lord: The Jains do not know the truth, the Buddhists are bewildered, and those who have taken to Śiva are lowly in the extreme. To speak of what they are: they do not praise the wondrous one, Māl who loves his own, Mādhava [the consort of Śrī], he who is fragrance itself, and so, as things stand now, they are base indeed.
