In plain words

The poet, to the Lord: O you of such nature, who loosed fierce arrows so that the demon [Rāvaṇa] with fangs bright as lightning fell, and in grace gave the kingdom to his younger brother [Vibhīṣaṇa]! O beloved of Piṉṉai, fair of complexion, matchless and sweet of speech, who longs for you! Are you not the lotus-eyed one, of lasting auspicious qualities, whose limbs are lovely as gold and whose whole form is beautiful?
