The poet, to those who seek liberation: If you bow at the two feet of Vāmana, knowing them again and again as both the way and the goal, true knowledge will rise strong within you, and the wealth of devotion too will abound. If you praise Māl, reciting his names, who dwells for ever in the clear sea whose waves spread and rise, your evil deeds will be torn out and their every trace cut away, as surely as nature.
