In plain words
The poet, of what his eyes have seen: He measured the worlds with a joyful heart, his tall crown rising till it touched the shell of the cosmos; he is Kākutstha [Rāma], whose fierce arrows took the lives of the night-rovers who came against him that day; he is the Lord of Araṅgam with its fragrant groves. My thought has gone to the red cloth at his waist and settled there.
