The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Advaitānubhūtiḥ

Verse 24

प्रमेयादित्रयं सार्थं भानुना घटकुड्यवत् ।येन भाति स एवाहं प्रमेयादिविलक्षणः ॥ २२ ॥

In plain words

Pot and wall shine by the sun. Just so, the triad — known, means of knowing, knower — with everything it takes in, shines by something else. That something else is what I am: and I am none of the three.

Close to the Sanskrit

The triad beginning with the knowable, together with its objects, shines by that — as pot and wall by the sun — that alone am I, distinct from the knowable and the rest.
