अहमानन्दसत्यादिलक्षणः केवलः शिवः ।सदानन्दादिरूपं यत्तेनाहमचलोऽद्वयः ॥ १ ॥
In plain words
I am bliss; I am what is real. These are not qualities I have — they are what I am. Alone, unmixed, and wholly auspicious. Being, bliss, and everything of that order: that is my nature. And so I do not move, and there is no second to me.
Close to the Sanskrit
I am one whose defining marks are bliss, reality, and the rest — alone, auspicious. That which has being, bliss, and the rest as its nature: by that, I am unmoving, without a second.
