The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 114

In plain words

What is the root of every being, and the root of the mind's own stillness — that is mūlabandha, the root-lock. Keep to it always. For those on the path of rāja-yoga, this is the practice that fits.

Close to the Sanskrit

That which is the root of all beings, that which is the root of the binding of the mind — that mūlabandha is always to be practiced; this one is fit for rāja-yogins.
