Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 17

आत्मा विनिष्कलो ह्येको देहो बहुभिरावृतः ।तयोरैक्यं प्रपश्यन्ति किमज्ञानमतः परम् ॥ १७ ॥

In plain words

The Self has no parts and no second. The body is many things packed together. And people look straight at the two and see one thing. What ignorance goes deeper than that?

The Self indeed is partless and one; the body is covered over by many. They fully see the oneness of these two — what ignorance is greater than this?
