The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 58

In plain words

So the three turn out to be mithyā — assembled out of the three guṇas. And the one who sees them stands beyond the guṇas: eternal, one, consciousness itself.

Close to the Sanskrit

Thus the triad would be unreal, being fabricated out of the three guṇas; the seer of this is beyond the guṇas, eternal indeed, one, and of the nature of consciousness.
