Self-Knowledge. I bow at the lotus feet of my teacher, Śrī Śaṅkarānanda — feet with one work and one only: to swallow whole the crocodile of great moha, and every glittering play it puts on.

Ātmabodha. Salutation to the water-born lotus of the feet of the revered guru Śaṅkarānanda — to that whose sole work is the swallowing of the crocodile of great delusion along with its play.
