Verse 5

परिच्छिन्न इवाज्ञानात्तन्नाशे सति केवलः ।स्वयं प्रकाशते ह्यात्मा मेघापायेंऽशुमानिव ॥ ४ ॥

In plain words

Because of ignorance the Self only seems limited. When ignorance falls away, the Self shines by itself—like the sun revealed when the clouds have passed.

Close to the Sanskrit

As if limited because of ignorance, when that is destroyed the Self, alone, shines by itself, like the radiant sun when the clouds depart.
