The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Brahmānucintanaṃ

Verse 10

In plain words

Whoever holds the thought, even for one moment, "I am Brahman" — and keeps turning attention back on the Self that way — let that one take the Self as Brahman without a break, and walk through life at ease.

Close to the Sanskrit

Having constantly held the self to be Brahman, let him move about at ease — he who would, even for a moment, carry out the reflection on the self, 'I am Brahman.'
