In plain words
Lamps set in golden vessels adorned with gems, mixed with cow’s ghee, splitting the long darkness, radiant as ten million newly risen suns; and likewise jewel-lamps, coppery, blazing, brilliant, shining forth — Mother, with these, day after day and with reverence, I perform Ārati for you, holding them high.
