The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

In plain words

Within the heart-lotus I worship the radiant liṅga of the Self. Faith becomes the river of pure water for its abhiṣeka, and samādhi the flowers I offer—an inward worship directed toward freedom from return.

Close to the Sanskrit

For freedom from rebirth, I continually worship the jewel-like Self-liṅga seated in the heart-lotus of the city of māyā, bathing it with the pure waters of the river of faith and offering the flowers of samādhi.
