Verse 47

को वर्द्धते विनीतः को वा हीयेत यो दृप्तः ।को न प्रत्येतव्यो ब्रूते यश्चानृतं शश्वत् ॥ ४६ ॥

In plain words

Who prospers? The humble. Who declines? The arrogant. And who should never be trusted? The one who habitually speaks lies.
