Sleep closes over a man however watchful he is. In just the same way this veiling power closes over the inner Self — and inside that covering it lets the projecting power stretch open and spread.

Just as sleep completely envelops a man who is vigilant, so this one too veils the inward one — the veiling power veils, causing the projecting power to expand within.
