। ॥ ९४१ ॥
In plain words
"Am I going to stay like this, dull and asleep, and nothing more? Let me become someone the scriptures and the good can look upon." That wish — with vairāgya coming first — is what the wise call śubhecchā, the good desire.
Close to the Sanskrit
"Remaining thus, am I a deluded one only? I am to be looked upon by the scriptures and by the good" — such a wish, preceded by dispassion, is called śubhecchā by the wise.
