In plain words
"I am Brahman." "I am consciousness." Not even these thoughts are thought any more. The one who simply remains as consciousness and nothing else — he is bodiless, he is free.
Close to the Sanskrit
"I am Brahman alone," "I am consciousness alone" — even thus it is not thought. He who would remain as mere consciousness, as it were, he indeed is the bodiless one, the liberated one.
