। ॥ ७६ ॥
In plain words
His body licked raw by wave after wave of flame from Śiva's wrath, Kāma — desire, born in the mind — dove into the deep lake of your navel and stayed there. Out of that water a thin creeper of smoke stood up, O daughter of the mountain; and people, Mother, take it for the fine line of hair rising along your body.
