। ॥ ९१ ॥
In plain words
The sweet-voiced swans of your palace waddle after you, tripping over themselves, as if they had made up their minds to learn the play of your step; they never quit your gliding walk. And so, Lady of lovely ways, your lotus-foot calls out their lesson to them — passing it off as nothing more than the tinkling of jewelled anklets.
Close to the Sanskrit
As if with minds set on beginning an acquaintance with the play of your foot-placing, the sweet-voiced swans of your palace, stumbling, do not abandon your gliding walk; therefore, O you of lovely conduct, your lotus-foot is declaring their lesson to them under the pretext of the tinkling of lovely jewelled anklets.
