। ॥ १९ ॥
In plain words
I know your gravity and my lightness. Knowing just that, Lord, protect me with one compassionate glance — I am the one walking behind you. I am not equal to Stuti — to praising Śiva’s own majesty. I worked with the strength I had. Forgive the offence in it.
Close to the Sanskrit
Having known your gravity and my lightness, O Lord, protect with a glance of compassion me, who follow you. In Stuti, in praise of the majesty of Śiva himself, I am incapable; forgive the offence committed by me with my own strength.
