In plain words

Old age, birth, the long confinement in the womb, and all the other sufferings — they are past bearing; let me be done with them, Lord of the world, my God. Without you I have nowhere to go, Śambhu. Compassionate one — or is your compassion simply not awake?

Close to the Sanskrit

The unbearable sufferings beginning with old age, birth, and dwelling in the womb — may I abandon them, O Lord of the world, O God. Without you there is for me no refuge at all, O Śambhu. O compassionate one, or does your compassion not wake?
