To the one who holds the trident, I bow, I bow — to the one who holds the skull, namaḥ śivāya. To the protector, garlanded with the heads of Brahmā, namaḥ śivāya. To the player, wearing that garland of no ordinary severed heads, namaḥ śivāya. To the one whose conduct is flawless, I bow — to the one in whom holiness is complete, namaḥ śivāya.

Close to the Sanskrit

To the trident-bearer, obeisance, obeisance; to the skull-bearer, obeisance to Śiva. To the protector, to the wearer of the garland of Brahmā's heads, obeisance to Śiva. To the player, to the wearer of the garland of those uncommon severed heads, obeisance to Śiva. To the one of settled conduct, obeisance; to the one abounding in the highest holiness, obeisance to Śiva.
