In plain words
May the crystal-bright chest of Dakṣa’s foe swiftly wear away your sins. Bhasma, the sacred ash, lies across it with bright sandal paste transferred from between Pārvatī’s full breasts as she bends close under love’s weight, while the jeweled hoods of the serpents at his ears pour their light over it.
Close to the Sanskrit
May that chest of Dakṣa’s enemy, resembling a round slab of crystal, swiftly and forever destroy your sin. Sprinkled with Bhasma—sacred ash—it shines mingled with bright sandal paste transferred from between the full breasts of Dakṣa’s daughter as she bends beneath the weight of love, and it continually gleams in the light of the massed hood-jewels of the serpents at the fierce-eyed Lord’s ears.
