In plain words

Day after day, may Maheśa’s revered light cut down the rising growth of Moha, delusion, within me. Boundless, it fills the world: the light beyond every light, the deepest Tattva, the essential truth of the Sāman chants and Vedic teaching, primordial and beyond the Guṇas, the qualities of nature. The great ones proclaim it again and again—it destroys sin, seeks no action, and cannot be fathomed.

May that revered radiance of Maheśa destroy in me, day after day, the growth of Moha—delusion. Its boundless vastness pervades the universe; it is the supreme light of lights, the highest Tattva—the essential truth—of the Sāman chants and Vedic tradition, primordial and beyond the Guṇas, the qualities of nature; the great ones repeatedly proclaim it the destroyer of sin, actionless, and unfathomable.
