Verse 8

यदा मत्समीपं कृतान्तः समेत्यप्रचण्डप्रकोपैर्भटैर्भीषयेन्माम् ।तदाविष्करोषि त्वदीयं स्वरूपंसदापत्प्रणाशं सकोदण्डबाणम् ॥ ८ ॥

When Death himself walks up beside me and sets his raging soldiers on me to break me with fear — that is the moment you show yourself, your own form, the one that ends every calamity, bow in hand and arrow with it.

When Death, having come near me, would terrify me with his fiercely raging soldiers — then you make manifest your own form, the ever-destroyer of calamity, bearing bow and arrow.
