संहिताविषयमुपासनमुक्तम् ।तदनु मेधाकामस्य श्रीका-मस्य चानुक्रान्ता मन्त्राः ।ते च पारम्पर्येण विद्योपयोगाथाएव ।अनन्तरं व्याहृत्यात्मनो ब्रह्मण अन्तरुपासनं स्वारा-ज्यफलं प्रस्तूयते—

The meditation relating to the continuous text has been explained. Following that, the mantras intended for the seeker of wisdom and the seeker of prosperity are presented; these serve traditionally as preparatory aids for the attainment of knowledge. Next is introduced the inward contemplation of brahman as the vyāhṛtis, yielding the fruit of supreme self-rule.

Meditation concerning the saṃhitā has been spoken. Thereafter the mantras for the desirer of intelligence and the desirer of prosperity are recited. And they are indeed for the utility of knowledge through succession. Immediately after, internal meditation upon brahman whose self consists of the vyāhṛtis, having self-rule as its fruit, is introduced.
