In plain words

Salutation to the Supreme Self. To that embodiment of pure awareness from whom this entire universe is born, in whom alone it rests, and by whom it is sustained, I offer my bow. I bow perpetually to the ancient teachers who illuminated all the Upanishads through grammar, syntax, and valid proofs. Through the grace of my teacher, this commentary on the essence of the Taittiriya is composed for those whose hearts delight in luminous clarity.

Close to the Sanskrit

Salutation to the Supreme Self. From which this entire universe is born, in which indeed it dissolves, and by which this is sustained also, to that Self of knowledge be salutation. I am constantly bowed down to those ancient teachers who explained all the Vedantas through word, sentence, and valid means of knowledge. For those who delight in clear meaning, this commentary on the essence of the Taittiriya is composed by me through the grace of the teacher.
