In plain words

The meditation on Brahman in the form of the vyāhṛtis having been stated, the meditation on that same Brahman in the form of the pentads comprising earth and the rest is now set forth. Because of the association with the number five, there is the pāṅkti meter, and from that comes the pentadic nature of everything. The sacrifice is also pentadic, as the scriptural passage says: 'The pāṅkti meter has five feet; the sacrifice is pentadic.' Therefore, whatever a person conceptualizes as pentadic—ranging from the worlds up to the self—he thereby conceptualizes as a sacrifice. Through that mentalized sacrifice, he fully attains Prajāpati, whose nature is pentadic. How is all this pentadic? Thus it is said: Earth, atmosphere, heaven, the quarters, and the intermediate quarters—this is the world pentad. Fire, wind, sun, moon, and constellations—this is the deity pentad. Waters, herbs, trees, space, and the self—this is the elemental pentad. Here 'self' means Virāj, because gross elements are under discussion. 'Pertaining to the elements' implies the two previous pentads—those of the worlds and the deities—since both pairs have already been stated. Now, the three subjective pentads are set forth: the pentad of breaths beginning with prāna; the pentad of senses beginning with the eye; and the pentad of bodily tissues beginning with the skin. Having thus organized all this—both subjective and external—as pentadic, a seer endowed with this vision declared: 'All this universe is pentadic; with the subjective pentad, through numerical equivalence, he fulfills, strengthens, and satisfies the external pentad, perceiving them as a unity.' Whoever knows all this to be pentadic truly becomes the very self of Prajāpati.

Which this vyāhṛti-formed brahman meditation stated, of that indeed now earth-etc. pentad-form meditation is stated—due to association with the number five the pāṅkti meter, thence pentad-ness of all. And pentad is sacrifice, 'five-footed is the pāṅkti, pentad is the sacrifice' thus from śruti. Therefore whatever all beginning from worlds ending at self he mentalizes as pentad, sacrifice indeed that he mentalizes. By that constructed sacrifice he attains fully the pentadic-natured Prajāpati. That how pentad is this all thus says—earth, atmosphere, heaven, directions, intermediate directions thus world pentad. Fire, wind, sun, moon, constellations thus deity pentad. Waters, herbs, trees, space, self thus elemental pentad. Self is Virāj, due to context of gross elements. Thus pertaining to elements for the purpose of implying the two world and deity pentads, in the two pairs of world and deity pentads due to being stated. Now subsequently pertaining to self three pentads are stated—prāna-beginning breath pentad, eye-beginning sense pentad, skin-beginning tissue pentad. Thus much all this subjective and external pentad indeed thus this having arranged, seer knows this vision-endowed or some seer spoke said—pentad is indeed all this, by the subjective pentad alone due to numerical equivalence he fulfills, strengthens, fills the external pentad, being perceived as unity thus this. Thus this pentadic all who knows, he Prajāpati-self indeed becomes thus meaning.
