In plain words
Śivā — gods and their great elephant-lords and even the asuras bow down before you in long ranks, and the light off their crowns comes breaking over your foot in wave after wave, washing it, and your foot only grows lovelier for the washing. Let that foot set us firmly in well-being, here, in this world.
Close to the Sanskrit
O Śivā, this foot of yours — whose loveliness is born of its washing by the waves of rays from the crowns in the ranks of bowing gods, elephant-lords, and asuras — may it establish secure well-being for us in the world.
