। ॥ ९२ ॥
In plain words
Making a hymn is just an arrangement of words, and I think its whole motive is this: to get what we want and cut loose what we don't. Your real form is known only in one's own direct experience — the eye cannot grasp it, and speech cannot either.

The cause of the attainment of the desired and the cutting off of the undesired — that alone, I think, is the fashioning of words in order to praise. For your form is knowable by one's own experience alone; it is not grasped by the eye, nor even by speech.
