In plain words
The Self's seeing never breaks off, and no agent, no instrument, nothing in the whole machinery of action can produce it. Its having a beginning is only imagined onto it — imagined by a second kind of seeing, the kind that can itself be seen.
Close to the Sanskrit
But the seeing of the Self is unbroken, not to be produced by the factors of action, since [that is so]; and by another seeing, one that is itself an object of sight, the producedness of this [seeing] is imagined.
