In plain words

Any object of knowledge held to be apart from the Knower is merely a projection of ignorance. When that false projection is dispelled by true knowledge, just as a snake is removed from the rope, the non-dual Self alone remains.

Close to the Sanskrit

The object to be known other than the knower is indeed the Atman; that is declared to be constructed by avidyā. That being removed by knowledge, [there remains the non-dual] like a serpent in a rope, non-dual.
