US-P17.045ab ।US-P17.045cd ॥

In plain words

'Mine.' 'I.' Said of the body and everything like it — and none of that is the Self. That is avidyā, and nothing else is. It is to be dropped by knowledge of the Self, since the śruti says that other doctrine belongs to the asuras.

Close to the Sanskrit

'Mine' and 'I' — thus, from this, ignorance, with regard to the body and the rest, which are not the Self. It should be abandoned by knowledge of the Self, from the śruti '[this is the teaching] of the asuras'.
