The lamp that shows you the pot is not the pot — nobody disputes that. In the same way, I am what shows you this body. I am the one who has the body, not the body; and what I am made of is awareness itself.

Just as the lamp, the illuminator of the pot, is held to be other than the pot, so I, the illuminator of the body, the possessor of the body, am of the form of consciousness.
