Vākyavṛttiḥ

Verse 36

जीवात्मना प्रवेशश्च नियन्तृत्वं च तान् प्रति ।श्रूयते यस्य वेदेषु तद्ब्रह्मेत्यवधारय ॥ ३५ ॥

In plain words

The one who enters these bodies as the living self, and who governs them from within — the Vedas declare him. Settle it: that is Brahman.

Whose entering by way of the individual self, and whose being-the-controller with respect to them, is heard in the Vedas — ascertain that as Brahman.
